Exceptions to this confidentiality include disclosure by you regarding intention to harm yourself or others. Your records & the information contained within it will not be disclosed to others unless you direct us to do so.

During your consultation, you can choose between Arabic, English or French language. However, all materials & data provided will be in English.

There may be additional or alternative treatments available. You are encouraged to ask questions if you would like additional information. Although your plan will be thoroughly researched and will be customized to your unique health status and your personal goals, no guarantees can be assured regarding the outcomes of treatment(s) or procedure(s).

Office visits are paid at the clinic while Teleconferences are billed 7 days before the agreed appointment.. The first office visit fee includes 60-90 minutes with the doctor, that might be followed with a nutritional consultation if advised by the doctor, to be scheduled once a treatment plan has been formulated. Subsequent follow-up visits are a minimum of 30-45 minutes. There is no refund for services provided.

In order to establish a doctor/patient relationship with us, you must see us in our office in person at least once per year. If you do not see us in our office in person at least once each year, there will not be a doctor/patient relationship between us and you. Instead, our communications with you will be for educational purposes only. We call these communications “ Online Health education services”. These services we provide to you will consist of information and suggestions that are intended to assist you and your health care provider in using natural means to support your health. Online Health Education  services are not intended to serve as a medical diagnosis or treatment of any kind. Our fees for online Health Education services are the same as the fees that we charge for our office visits. Online Health Education can be arranged and paid for at least 7 days prior to the appointment.

When you call and schedule an appointment, time is reserved especially for you and no one else. Since the appointments are much longer than standard office visits, cancellations are significant interruptions to the Clinic. Thus, a minimum of 5 days  notice is required for cancellations for both new and existing patients. There will be a 50% office visit charge for “no-shows” or late cancellations for less than 5 days notice. We also require that all new patients complete and return their new patient paperwork no later than 3 days prior to your appointment. If the new patient paperwork is not received, we will reschedule the appointment and cancellation fees will be applied.

Kindly send us via email your medical reports ( blood or scans) 3 days prior to your appointment so you can make the best out of your consultation time. Actual scans – new and old- should be brought with you for review at clinic and laboratory tests if you need more explanation on the actual papers.

Some patients require an Individualized protocol tailored for their special needs and health goals, such protocols take extra “out of office” working hours, so they are made with separate fees which should be paid upfront. Kindly allow 5-7 working days for a protocol to be ready after payment, during which, follow closely our physicians advises during the consultation for optimal results.

It is a 45 minutes paid consult if and when needed. Accordingly, a 3 monthly package for follow ups can be arranged according to each case.

Most of cases might need to buy Nutritional Supplements which will be recommended and sent in the Protocol made for each patient. It is the patient’s responsibility to buy and deliver supplements. Patients should stick to the supplements doses and brands recommended by the physician to ensure quality and best results.

Special Functional Laboratory tests for certain cases might be asked to be done for better analyzing the root cause of disease. Such Tests might be more expensive than usual but it is the patient’s decision to make them or not to further tailor and improve his treatment plan.

A consultation and follow up fees entails the patients to send 2 emails asking questions about their visit details, so please gather all your questions in one email and we will answer back to you in 2-3 working days.

Functional Medicine is not responsible for acute events related to treatments provided by your primary care physician or oncologist. In case of emergency, kindly refer back to your primary doctor or go to the nearest hospital.

You will be needed to read carefully and sign a consent for consultation form explaining the methodology of Functional medicine and if you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.
