Elena Panzeri holds a MSc in Nutrition and Genetics from Twickenham University (UK) and a BSc in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Westminster (UK). Her education also includes a three-year diploma in Naturopathy as well as a four-year specialty in homeopathy earned at the Instituto Rudy Lanza, one of Europe’s most respected Naturopathy colleges. Elena has been practicing natural medicine and nutrition for more than 25 years. Personalized Nutrition is her primary field of expertise, which encompasses Functional Medicine testing, nutrigenetics, epigenetics, microbiome analysis, and metabolomics.
Presently, she is focused on implementing and translating all omics technologies into clinical practice in order to offer cutting-edge testing to patients in addition to more traditional healing methods. Among his areas of expertise are longevity, chronic and degenerative diseases (e.g. cancer, neurodegenerative disorders), metabolic disfunction, women health (with a particular emphasis on perimenopause and menopause support), and highly personalized nutritional therapy.
As part of her new career chapter, she is pursuing a Ph.D. investigating the relationship between gut and oral microbiome and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
Elena has been consulting with Intus Biosciences, a US-based technology company specializing in an innovative microbiome test, for more than two years, assisting them in developing reports that are highly actionable from a clinical standpoint. As a result of her experience, she has been exposed to hundreds of microbiome profiles from patients all over the world, gaining an unparalleled level of expertise, particularly in the field of complex cases.
