Heba ElSayed, CFNC
Functional Nutritional Counselor
Heba Elsayed is a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor (CFNC) and Precision Nutrition–certified practitioner with a strong foundation in academic research and evidence-based practice. She currently works as a nutrition counselor at AWARE Clinic, where she provides dietary guidance to patients managing chronic illness under the supervision of Dr Wafaa Abdel-Hadi.
With over 16 years of experience in academic research and a PhD from the London School of Economics, Heba brings a rare combination of scientific rigour and practical insight to her work. Alongside her nutrition practice, she runs a successful academic writing and editing consultancy, supporting researchers, students, and professionals to communicate complex ideas with clarity and precision. This dual background allows her to cut through conflicting health information and translate complex nutritional science into clear, actionable guidance her clients can trust.
Heba’s approach centres on food literacy — empowering individuals to understand how food works in their bodies so they can make confident, sustainable choices without restrictive diets or generic meal plans. Her personal journey into nutrition began after surviving a traumatic childbirth experience, which deepened her commitment to personalised, compassionate care and long-term wellbeing.
She believes health exists on a continuum, where every small, intentional choice contributes to better energy, metabolic balance, and long-term disease prevention. Heba’s role is to guide, educate, and support her clients in creating simple, lasting changes that fit seamlessly into real life.
